I don't really have any excuse for most of my extended absence. Recently, however, (after Thanksgiving) I got a new 200 gb hard drive. Appearently windows XP couldn't handle that big of a hard drive, and began to fragment horribly. Nothing worked or if it did it was becasue I had just reinstalled it but it would soon cease to work correctly. Finally I got my old hard drive back from dad so I could back up my documents onto it. Then I reformatted my new hard drive and broke it up several smaller chunks. I guess one of those chunks will become a partition for Ubuntu eventually.
Right now I have mid-term exams because the school system decided to try moving them to before christmas instead of at the end of the first sememester, the logical time for them. They shouldn't be too bad though. I already got the worst one out of the way, Spanish IV, so that just leaves Chemistry I, U.S. History, and... study hall :)
